VISION

To become a leading, creative, innovative, and sustainable center for the development of historical education, with a distinctive focus on the local culture of Yogyakarta and Indonesian national culture within a global perspective.

MISSION

To organize academic and professional education to produce history educators who possess knowledge, skills, and attitudes in accordance with the fundamental values of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

To organize research and development that result in new discoveries in the field of historical education, with a distinctive focus on the local culture of Yogyakarta and Indonesian national culture.

To organize community service activities oriented towards the results of historical education studies and research for the empowerment and well-being of the community.

To organize and build cooperation with the government, community, academics, tourism industry, and media that support learning activities at the local, national, and international levels, in order to develop historical education and enhance the competitiveness of graduates.

To organize institutional governance at the study program level, along with excellent service and quality assurance that is transparent and accountable.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

PEO 1: Possess in-depth knowledge in the field of historical education and be able to apply it in identifying, formulating, and solving problems in the field of historical education.

PEO 2: Possess the ability to develop themselves sustainably and adapt appropriately to new competency demands and environmental dynamics in the field of historical education.

PEO 3: Demonstrate professional, ethically, and socially responsible skills, communicate effectively and collaboratively, and be able to develop themselves nationally and globally with a perspective on the local culture of Yogyakarta and Indonesian national culture.
